Annie Lourene Hardison, age 88, a resident of Culleoka, passed away Monday, December 26, 2016 at Life Care Center of Columbia.

A funeral service will be held on Friday at 1PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Charlie Norman, Kiven Hardison, and Michael Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday from 11AM-1PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on April 13, 1928 in Maury County, Lourene was the daughter of the late Willie Lee Lovett and the late Lorella Black Lovett. She worked as a caregiver for Impact Center and was a member of Jackson Heights Church of Christ. Lourene was very involved with her family and her church. She had a very giving heart and would help anyone. She also loved working with flowers and could grow anything.

She is survived by her son: Kiven (Nina) Hardison of Sierra Vista, AZ; daughter: Karen (Ray) Johnson of Culleoka; grandchildren: Brandy (Bruce) Cheatham of Columbia, David (Kristen) Kimery of Florida, Bryan (Misty) Hardison of Columbia, Michael Hardison of Sierra Vista, AZ; and great grandchildren: Gaven Hardison, Kannon Cheatham, Cullen Belle Cheatham, and Ryan Kimerysisters: Eugina Posey of Columbia, Mary Jean Ingrum of Brentwood, Faye Ward of Columbia; sisters-in-law: Maidlin Prince (Gene Street), Effie Lovett; and special great nieces: Emily Ward and Jennifer (Jacob) Eastep.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Willie E. Hardison; and brothers: William “Buddy” Lovett, Jerry Lovett, Larry “Cotton” Lovett, and Tony Lovett.

Pallbearers will be: David Lovett, David Kimery, Bryan Hardison, Mike Hardison, David Ward, Michael Sullivan, Jerrell Lovett, Bruce Cheatham, and Joshua Stein.

Honorary pallbearers will include: the staff at Life Care Center and NHC Hillview.
