Mary Lee Lord Ruple

February 15, 1917 - December 20, 2016

Mary Lee Lord Ruple passed away December 20, 2016 at NHC Scott Healthcare in Lawrenceburg, TN at the age of 99.

A small memorial will be held at the Neville Stadium in Monroe, Louisiana at the main entrance at 10am on Tuesday, December 27th with a private inurnment to follow.

Mom Ruple, as she was known by her 6 loving grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson, was born to Claude Lord and Jane Williams Lord on February 15, 1917 in Baskin, Louisiana.  After raising two daughters, she graduated from Northeast College and taught for 20 years in Monroe, Louisiana.

She is survived by her daughters: Patricia Jane (Jerry) Ruple Adams and Billie Ann (Gene) Ruple Haynes; grandchildren: William Andrew (Jimmie Ann) Adams, Mary Patricia (Robert) Adams Mobley, Sarah Jane Adams, Teri Ann (Sam) Adams Shackelford, and Maggie Paige (Stuart) Haynes Hodnett.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Andrew Ruple and grandson, Paul Daniel Haynes.
