Martha Jewel Lewis

November 23, 1937 - December 15, 2016

Martha Jewel Lewis, age 79, a resident of Ethridge, passed away December 15, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 1PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Arnold officiating. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 12-1PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on November 23, 1937 in Lawrenceburg, Martha was the daughter of the late Henry Martin and the late Edna Stacey Martin. She was a loveable and caring lady who would help anyone in any way she could. She was very family oriented, and loved her grandchildren above all. Martha had a fire in her all the way to her last heart beat.

She is survived by her children: William Lewis of Ethridge, David Lewis, Sr. of Ethridge, Tammy (Mike) Daniels of Union Town, PA, Rick Lewis of Ethridge; brothers: Ed (Regina) Martin of Leoma, Hershel (Bonnie) Martin of Lawrenceburg, John (Aleta) Martin of Lamar, PA; sisters: Grace Martin of Union Town, PA, Florence Martin of Tullahoma, Ann (George) Lewis of Carmichaels, PA; sister-in-law: Linda Martin; grandchildren: David Lewis, Jr. of Lawrenceburg, Jarrett Lewis of Ethridge, Austin Lewis of Summertown, Shiloh Daniels of Union Town, PA, Serina Huffman Vera of Texas; and two great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: William Lewis; son: Jeffrey Lewis; brothers: Tom Martin, Sam Martin; sister: Sarah Roberts; and grandchildren: Jason and Justin Lewis.
