Bobby Tennyson

March 13, 1951 - December 12, 2016

Mr. Bobby Tennyson, age 65, a resident of Culleoka, passed away Monday morning, December 12, 2016 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1PM at The Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ with Pastor Henry Mobley officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 6-8PM at The Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

A native of Maury County, Bobby was born on March 13, 1951 and was the son of the late Ruby M. Tennyson and the late Fletcher Bryant Tennyson. He married his sweetheart, Beverly, on May 7, 1976. After thirty-eight years, he retired from CSX Railroad in Nashville. Bobby was a member of The Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ. He loved his family, and his grandchildren were his life.

He is survived by his wife: Beverly Owens Tennyson of Culleoka; daughter: Amanda Tennyson (Brent) Smith of Walkerton, IN; granddaughter: Christiana Smith of Walkerton, IN; grandson: Christian Smith of Indianapolis, IN; brother: Jimmy Tennyson of Columbia; two nieces and several cousins.

Pallbearers will be: Lance Malcolm, Nathan Popplewell, Ricky Bishop, Jimmy Gutherie, Brian Owens, and Alex Alcarez. Honorary pallbearers will include: members of The Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ, and his CSX Railroad friends.
