John Hyde Ferguson, Jr.

April 22, 1940 - December 6, 2016

Mr. John H. Ferguson, Jr., age 76, a resident of Arrington, TN, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2016 at Southern Care Assisted Living in Franklin.

Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

John was born April 22, 1940 in Williamson County, Tennessee and was the son of the late John Hyde Ferguson, Sr. and the late Martha McGhee Ferguson.  He worked as a civil engineer for the State of Tennessee.  He enjoyed duck hunting and golfing.

He is survived by his children: John H. Ferguson III of Franklin, Jonelle (Blair) Summitt of Franklin, Christi Peppers of Brentwood, and Andrea (Brad) Geren of Cookeville; sister: Ann Frank of Triune; and six grandchildren.

Along with his parents, John is preceded in death by his brother: William “Bill” Ferguson.
