Doyle W. Hasty

August 10, 1942 - November 29, 2016

Mr. Doyle Wayne Hasty, age 74, a resident of Sherry Drive in Columbia, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Friday at 12PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Keith Baker officiating.  The family will visit with friends on Friday from 11AM-12PM at the funeral home.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on August 10, 1942 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Doyle was the son of the late Clarence Hasty and the late Lula Bell Hill Hasty. He was of the Baptist faith and retired in 1996 as a truck driver for Wonder Bread Company in Pomona, California which he enjoyed. He was later employed at Keith Baker Homes as a sales consultant for three years. Doyle was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who liked collecting southern artifacts and loved animals.

He is survived by his wife: Patricia Agnew Hasty of Columbia; son: David Wayne (Stephanie) Hasty of Midwest City, OK; daughters: Teresa Lynn Wilson (Tim Chunn) of Columbia, Lisa Marie (Tom) Gray of Hohenwald, Robin Hasty of Rando Cucamonga, CA; mother-in-law: Jessie Agnew of Mt. Pleasant; and thirteen grandchildren.

Mr. Hasty’s family will serve as pallbearers.
