Margaret Ivon Ledford

Margaret Ivon “Marge” Ledford, age 86, a resident of Linden, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Decatur County Health Care and Rehabilitation in Parsons.

Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia, TN is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born July 18, 1930 in Ridgely, TN, daughter of the late Henry Albert Brown and Mary “Annie” Buchanan Brown and wife of the late James “Dude” Ledford. She was the owner of several diners and stores in the area and of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Joyce and Russ Douglass of Linden; 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son: Jackie L. Warner; brothers: James H. Brown and Alfred Leon Brown; sisters: Frances A. Kennedy and Juanita B. Wayson.
