Ruby Lee Nance

December 31, 1944 - November 20, 2016

Ruby Lee Nance, age 71, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday morning, November 20, 2016 at her residence.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 6PM at Heritage Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-6PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on December 31, 1944 in Columbia, Ruby was the daughter of the late Russell Ferguson and the late Lillian Goodwin Ferguson. In her younger days she enjoyed serving as a den mother for the Boy Scouts. Ruby also liked doing crafts, watching The Price is Right , and going to the Senior Center.

She is survived by her son: Kenneth (Jeanea) Nance of Hohenwald; daughter: Michelle Nance of Mt. Pleasant; brothers: David Wayne Ferguson of Columbia, James Ferguson of Mt. Pleasant; and grandchild: Asa Nance.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Jerry Nance who preceded her in death in 2012; and her brother: Bobby Ferguson.
