Allen Yarbro

September 13, 1930 - November 14, 2016

Mr. Allen Layne Yarbro, age 86, husband of Ella Mae Yarbro, and a resident of Loretto, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 at NHC Scott.

The family will celebrate his life with a service at a later date in Loretto. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on September 3, 1930 in West Tennessee, Allen was the son of the late Marvin Layne Yarbro and the late Doris Rogers Yarbro. He served his country in the United States Army and retired in 1989 from Western Auto as a truck driver. Allen loved gardening, fishing, and being outdoors.

He is survived by his wife: Ella Mae Crawford Yarbro of Loretto; children: Alvin (Carol) Yarbro of Leoma, Cynthia Elaine Tennery of Loretto, John Kenneth Yarbro of Lawrenceburg; brother: Jesse Thomas Yarbro of Texas; sister: Nina Miller of Florida; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children: Allen Layne Yarbro, Jr., and Doris Ann Yarbro.
