Dana Martin

Dana Martin, age 49, of Columbia, passed away November 11th at her Maury Regional Medical Center.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday at 1PM at Blowing Springs Cemetery. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Born on March 26, 1967 in Columbia, Dana was the daughter of the late Walter Bowen and the late Tonie Workman Bowen. She worked as a registered nurse. She enjoyed dolphins and reading.

She is survived by her daughters: Danielle Bowen of Columbia, Brooke Martin of Lawrenceburg; sister: Donna Campbell of Loretto; grandchildren: Lorra Lei Bowen, Carmen Martin, Camiah Middleton; special friend: Cliff Simmons of Mt. Pleasant; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Danny Martin; brothers: Sammy, Wendell, and Randy Bowen; and niece: Lisa Marie Jones.

Dalton Martin will serve as the pallbearer. Honorary pallbearers will be Dana’s past nursing co-workers.
