Mrs. Mildred Faye Hargrove, age 76, wife of Billy Mac Hargrove, and a resident of Fred White Road in Columbia, passed away November 14, 2016 at her residence.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Morton Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3-7PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on August 17, 1940 in Maury County, Faye was the daughter of the late Hubert Stinnett and the late Adell June Coffman Stinnett. She worked as a cosmetology instructor for Nave Cosmetology Academy in Columbia for several years before retiring and previously worked for Publix Shirt Company in Columbia for twenty years. In her spare time, Faye enjoyed fishing and traveling. She and her husband, Billy Mac Hargrove were just six days shy of celebrating their 52nd wedding anniversary.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters: Mary Beth (Michael) Hargrove Wilbanks of Memphis, Jerri Faye Adams of Culleoka; sisters: Sue (George) Butterworth of Dickson, Joann Davidson of Dickson, Linda (James) Fralix of Santa Fe; grandchildren: Ashley Adams (Scott) Tarpley of Columbia, Sarah Adams (Elliot) Andrews of Culleoka; great-grandchildren: Kaylee Andrews, Caleb Reed, Brody Andrews, and Rivers Tarpley; and several nieces and nephews.
