Ms. Kaneasha D. Martin, age 36, a resident of Columbia, departed this life on Friday morning, October 28, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 3PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Frierson officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Eternity in Maury Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 2-3PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on June 16, 1980 in Columbia, Kaneasha was the daughter of Darrell Biffle and Teresa Martin Frierson. She was a graduate of Columbia Central High School and attended some college at Columbia State Community College. She was a member of Glass Street Church of Christ in Mt. Pleasant. Keasha, as she was lovingly known by many, did not have any children of her own, but was a mother hen to a host of nieces and nephews. She was a sweet, yet outspoken person who loved to shop.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving mother: Teresa (Elvis) Frierson of Columbia; father: Darrell Biffle of Columbia; sisters: Tiffany Martin, Latosha (Nate Whitehead) Martin, Shaherah Wilson, Chiquita Wilson all of Columbia; stepsisters: Latisha Burns of Nashville, Cierra Smith of Knoxville; one and only brother: Rhoderick Dione (Natalie) Frierson of Murfreesboro; grandmothers: Vivian Martin, Dorothy Biffle both of Columbia; step grandmother: Jessie Mae Frierson of Mt. Pleasant; special aunt: Debra Martin of Mt. Pleasant; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who she loved dearly.

Pallbearers will be: James A. Martin, Don J. Martin, Nate Whitehead, Frederick D. Martin, Frederick Martin, and Terrance Armstrong.  Flower Bearers will be: Jaime Greer, Antonia Jackson, and Chenoa Lee. Nieces will serve as honorary flower bearers.
