Bobby Eugene Foster

Mr. Bobby Eugene Foster, age 70, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Monday, October 10, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral services for Mr. Foster will be held on Thursday, October 13th, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow at the Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the American Legion Post #19. The family will visit with friends from 12:00 Noon to 2:00PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Born June 13th, 1946 in Columbia, he was the son of the late Raymond and Mildred Justice Foster and husband of Martha LaRue Foster. He worked as a welder in construction and was a former police officer in Washington State. He loved to hunt, fish and was just an avid outdoorsman.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons: Bobby Eugene Foster, Jr . of Lewisburg and Timothy Wayne Foster of Culleoka; daughters: DeDee Marie Woodard of Culleoka and Stephanie Marie Overstreet of Columbia; brothers: Ray LaDon Foster of Chapel Hill and Jerry Foster of Columbia; sister Jan (Johnny) Watkins of Columbia; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; foster son: Ricky Lee Hobby of Columbia.
