Joe C. Loveless, III

October 24, 1938 - September 26, 2016

Mr. Joe C. Loveless, III, age 77, a resident of Columbia, passed away September 26, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held on Friday at 6PM at Heritage Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Friday from 5-6PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on October 24, 1938 in Mt. Pleasant, Joe was the son of the late Joe C. Loveless, Jr. and the late Bertha V. Scholze Loveless. He served his country in the United States Army and worked in sales for the Mutual of Omaha for twenty-two years. Joe was a member of Marty’s Coffee Club. He was an avid golfer and an outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt.

He is survived by his daughter: Jan Loveless Knight of Franklin; brother: Gordy Loveless of New Smyrna Beach, FL; good friends: Clyde Harris of Culleoka, Billy Gowan of Columbia; and two grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Don “Tuffy” Loveless, Charlie Loveless, Michael Loveless, and Jerry Loveless.
