Robin Stanfill

January 8, 1955 - September 25, 2016

Robin Stanfill, age 61, a resident of Spring Hill, passed away Sunday morning, September 25, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 11AM at Polk Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jim Ledbetter officiating. An inurnment will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held from 10-11AM at Polk Memorial Gardens. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on January 8, 1955 in Plainwell, Michigan, Robin was the daughter of Glenn Simington and Marcia Morrison Cox. She was baptized at an early age in the Baptist faith. She loved shopping and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Robin loved all animals but especially loved her cats and her dog named Doodle Bug.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by son: Jeramie (Kimberly) Short of Columbia; daughters: Shawna (Matthew) Guttowsky of Columbia, Brandi Jennett of Columbia, Holly Short of Spring Hill; brothers: Greg Simington of Michigan, Kevin Cox of Columbia; sister: Laurie Simington of Michigan; and grandchildren: Patrick and Andrew Guttowsky, Blaine and Breeana Jennette, Dayton and Hailey Short, and Samantha Watts.

She was preceded in death by her husband: William Oliver Stanfill; and step father: Marvin Cox.
