Silas Dunbar Reynolds

August 4, 1933 - August 27, 2016

Mr. Silas Dunbar Reynolds, age 83, a resident of Centerville, passed away August 27, 2016 at St. Thomas Hickman Nursing Home.

The family will celebrate his life with private services at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on August 4, 1933 in Unity, Maine, Silas was the son of the late Merton Ronald Reynolds and the late Edith W. White Reynolds. He served his country in the United States Army and worked as a woodman, truck driver, and mechanic.

He is survived by his son: Merton (Barbara Rittenberry) Reynolds of Columbia; daughter: Theresa C. (Richard) Fisher of Maryland; brother: Rev. Richard (Ateen) Reynolds of Maine; sister: Elsie (Richard) Ladd of Maine; grandchildren: Joseph, Silas, Tonya, and Joshua Reynolds, and Craig, Chris, and Corey Fisher; and fifteen great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Eva Ames and Mary Reynolds.
