Mr. Rickie Eugene Victory, age 58, husband of Susie Victory, and a resident of Lasea Road in Spring Hill, passed away Friday, August 26, 2016 at NHC Lewisburg.

A funeral service will be held on Monday at 4PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Boshers, Bro. Jerry Martin, and Keith Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens, adjacent to Heritage Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 3-7PM and again on Monday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Rickie was born on January 17, 1958 in Dickson, but grew up in the Theta and Water Valley Communities of Santa Fe. He was the son of the late Ramon Anderson Victory and the late Etha Pearl Hosford Victory. Rickie attended Santa Fe School and was raised in the Church of God of Prophecy faith. He worked at Gary Bentley & Son, Victory Trucking, and McCandless Trucking. Whether he was cleaning his dump truck, camping, dirt bike racing, cooking out, or watching his grandkids by the pool, Rickie enjoyed being outdoors. He also enjoyed Nascar and listening to music. Above all Rickie loved his family, especially his wife and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Freida “Susie” Victory, Rickie is survived by his children: Brandy (Jay) Martin of Hickman Co., April (Mike) Damron of Williamsport, Chris (April) Murphy of Goodlettsville, Cody Hicks of Spring Hill; brothers: Travis (June) Victory of Columbia, Marshall (Judy) Victory of Water Valley; sister: Linda Sue Carroll of Smyrna; grandchildren: Brackon Martin, Dakota Martin, Harley Johnston, Hunter Damron, Michael “Toot Toot” Damron, Jr., Addison “Boo” Hicks, Liam Murphy, Jackson Murphy, Amelia Murphy; father-in-law: J.W. Murphy of Spring Hill; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved Boxer: Sam.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Estella Tosh.

Pallbearers will be: Chris Murphy, Cody Hicks, Brackon Martin, Dakota Martin, Harley Johnston, Hunter Damron, Michael “Toot Toot” Damron, Jr., Liam Murphy, and Jackson Murphy. Honorary pallbearers will include the employees of McCandless Trucking and the owner, Sam McCandless.
