Walter Martin Clark, age 58, resident of Spring Hill, passed away on Wednesday, August 17 at TriStar of Spring Hill.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 21st at 2PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. E.C. McKinley, Bro. Bob Creasy, Bro. Charles Clark, and Pastor Rick Points officiating.  Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens, located adjacent to Heritage Funeral Home.  The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 4-8PM and again on Sunday from 1PM until the 2PM service at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Marty was a native of Maury County and was born March 15, 1958.  He married the love of his life, Dawn Adams Clark on November 9, 1984.  He was a member of the Church of God Prophecy on Williamsport Pike.  He worked as a farmer for Middle Tennessee Research and Education Development for 26 years.  Some of his hobbies included fishing, camping, and hiking.  He also enjoyed watching old western movies.  He loved old tractors, ford trucks, trains, and Harley Davidson motorcycles.  He cherished spoiling his girls and grandbabies.  He especially liked listening to Gospel music and anything else with Elvis.  Most of all, Marty loved his Lord and Savior.

He is survived by his beautiful wife of 32 years, Dawn Adams Clark; children: Megan (Joshua) Lancaster of Chesapeake, VA, Amber Nicole Clark of Chapel Hill, TN, and Katelyn Michelle Clark of Spring Hill, TN; two special grandbabies: Kiptyn Dean Lancaster and Kislynn Dawn Lancaster; parents: James Clark and Betty Prince Clark of Columbia; sisters: Carol (Jeff) Helgren of Spring Hill, Rene (Jeff) Foster of Santa Fe, Valerie (Rodney) Patterson of Spring Hill, and Laurie (Bill) Brooks of Williamsport; sisters in laws: Tanya (Jessie) Dotson of Dickson, Hope (Earl) Beadle of Culleoka, and Penny Odom of Columbia;  mother in law: Margaret Gibson Adams; and a very special pet: Mator.

He was preceded in death by his father in law: Elmore Adams, Jr. and grandparents: Ernest and Odie Mae Clark, Walter and Stella Prince.

Pallbearers will be Nicholas Beadle, Austin Brown, Doug Rutherford, Kevin Thompson, Scott Helgren, Jeff Helgren, Ryan Helgren, and Johnny Glenn.  Honorary pallbearers will be the past and present employees of Middle TN Research and Education Development, Farm Bureau employees at Research Central at Spring Hill, TN, Kenny Prentice, and Glenn Babbs.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Laurie Wells, Dr. Kelly Snyder at Mt. Pleasant Family Health, Dr. Annis Marney at First Clinic Specialty Centennial Medical for Diabetic, Dr. Ben Barton at Vanderbilt Cardiologist, TriStar Emergency at Spring Hill ER, Steve Hickman and Joe David Plunk for emergency assistants.
