Charlotte Ann Hardin Roberts

February 26, 1946 - August 16, 2016

Mrs. Charlotte Ann Hardin Roberts, 70, a resident of Columbia, passed away Tuesday evening at NHC/Hillview Nursing Facility.

A Celebration of Life service for Mrs. Roberts will be conducted 7:00 PM on Friday, August 19, at Parkway Baptist Church with Mike Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday at the church. The Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born February 26, 1946 in Napier, TN, daughter of the late Joe Calvin “J.C.” and Clera Idell Conner Hardin. She was the wife of Elmer Wayne Roberts, whom she married 50 years ago on November 5, 1965. Mrs. Roberts was a beautician at Reba’s Hair Styles for 40 years. She was raised Pentecostal, but recently attended Parkway Baptist Church. Her hobbies included working in her yard and garden, decorating the home, going shopping at yard sales and antiquing. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons: Christopher Wayne (Wendy Sue) Roberts and Steven Brent Roberts, both of Columbia; a sister: Shelia Hardin of Columbia; grandchildren: Chelsea Ann Roberts, Kylie Delk Roberts and Christian Blake Roberts; great grandchild: Braelynn Ann Roberts; sister-in-law: Linda (Dennis) Harrington of Columbia; very close friends and coworkers: Reba Honeycutt, Janice Logue and Ann Davis.

The family would like to acknowledge special thanks to Richard, Sara, Bethany and Rita at NHC/Hillview, Dr. Gibran Naddy and his nurses, Vonda and Tiffany and the staff of Hospice Compassus.
