Brenda L. Putman

Mrs. Brenda Lee Putman, age 53, of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Signature Healthcare.

A graveside inurnment will be held on August 15, 2016 at 1PM at Polk Memorial Gardens with Pastor David Graves officiating. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on April 21, 1963 in Maury County, Brenda was the daughter of the late Bill Brown, Sr. and the late Sylvia Parsons Brown. She worked as a homemaker the majority of her life and was baptized in the Church of Christ faith. Brenda was a feisty, yet very caring lady who enjoyed cooking and baking. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband: Gary Putman of Columbia; daughters: Karen (Adam) York of Columbia, Candi Putman of Bowling Green, KY; and grandchildren: Ava York, Cash York, Caden Brassell, and Gabriel Clyde.

In addition to her parents, she was precede in death by her brother: Bill Brown, Jr.
