Brian Milkman

May 18, 1952 - August 6, 2016

Mr. Brian Milkman, age 64, husband of Carol Milkman, and a resident of Columbia, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016 in Perry County.

The family will celebrate his life with services at a later date. He will be laid to rest in Maury Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on May 18, 1952 in Whitinsville, Massachusetts, Brian was the son of the late Gordon Milkman and the late Theresa LeMay Milkman. He served his country in the United States Navy, previously worked as an assembly operations technician for General Motors, and was of the Catholic Faith. Brian enjoyed fishing, hunting, and boating. As a young family, he, his wife, and his sons loved going camping. Brian liked being on the river, jet skiing, and taking his grandkids swimming. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.

Brian is survived by his wife: Carol Milkman of Columbia; sons: Mark Milkman of Columbia, Matthew (Angela) Milkman of Columbia; siblings: Robert (Susan) Milkman of Barre, MA, Barbara Spezzaferro of North Eastham, MA, Kevin (Carol) Milkman of Raphine, VA, David Milkman of Lemoore, CA, Amy (Robert) Amaral of Douglas, MA, Ellen (Mark) Agro of Mendon, MA, Paula Milkman Glode of Whitinsville, MA, James (Debra) Milkman of Princeton, MA; grandchildren: Daniel and Samuel Milkman; sisters-in-law: Sharon (David) Henry of McMinville, OR, Linda (Robert) Laune of McMinnville, OR; and brother-in-law: Larry (Sheila) Shoemaker of Tigard, OR.
