Mr. Patrick D. Wilson, age 67, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System.
The family will celebrate his life with military interment in September at The Santa Fe National Cemetery in New Mexico. Heritage Funeral Home of Columbia is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on June 29, 1949 in Beeville, Texas, Patrick was the son of the late Sedoin Carruth Wilson and the late Mary Alice Smith Wilson. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era, was a member of the National Rifle Association, and participated in Habitat for Humanity. Pat was very instrumental in starting Crockett Friends of NRA. He served as chairman for the first two years.
He is survived by his wife: Jean Mally of Lawrenceburg; children: Mark Wilson of Richland, Washington, Dawn (Tim) Thorp of Nampa, Idaho; step children: Chris Bryan of Caldwell, Idaho, Nicholas Mally of Tampa, Florida; brother: Chip (Penny) Wilson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the mother of his children: Sonja Melgreen; and his former wife: Patricia Wilson.
