Andy “Round Man” Workman, age 51, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away July 29th at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held on Monday at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Randy Kersey officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 4-8PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on August 27, 1964 in Maury County, Andy was the son of Betty Odom (Harold) Reed and the late James R. “Bone Daddy” Workman. He was of the Church of Christ faith and enjoyed being outdoors and in the country. He liked horses and guns and was an avid fan of John Wayne and Waylon Jennings. Above all, he loved his family and his Boston Terrier, Monroe.
In addition to his mother and step father, he is survived by his wife: Barbara Bolton Workman of Mt. Pleasant; daughter: Amber Workman of Mt. Pleasant; brother: James “Jamie” Workman of Mt. Pleasant; sister: Karen (Jason) McConnell of Mt. Pleasant; half brother: Josh Langley of Florida; half sister: Amanda Langley of Florida; nieces and nephews: Lydia (Brandon) Sprouse, Katie Jackson, Shyanne (Allen) Potete, Jay McConnell; one great niece; and several great nephews.
Pallbearers will be: Jay McConnell, Jason McConnell, Phillip Brown, Greg Brown, Allen Massey, Brandon Sprouse, and Adam Laws. Dr. Naddy will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
