Marjorie "Margie" Dodson

February 2, 1926 - June 29, 2016

Marjorie “Margie” Alifair Mosley Dodson, age 90, a long time resident of Santa Fe, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at NHC Hillview.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 1st at 7PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Keith Baker officiating. The family will visit with friends on Friday from 5PM until the 7PM service.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Marjorie was born February 2, 1926 and was the daughter of the late Luther Mosley and the late Martha Morgan Mosley.  She graduated from Boynton High School in Boynton, Oklahoma.  She was a homemaker and a special caregiver to her son for 47 years.  She loved working cross word puzzles and yard work.  She was the assistant post master in Santa Fe many years ago.

She is survived by her daughter: Karen (Harold) Malugin of Primm Springs, TN; brother: Chuck Mosley of Vancouver, WA; brothers and sisters in law: Madison Dodson and Ray and Faye Locke of Columbia,TN; grandchildren: Amanda Malugin of Charlotte, NC and Ben Malugin of Primm Springs, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Harold Dodson; and her son: Charles Dodson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Nancy Fox, Jack Lockhart, Winfred Baker, Marty Lockhart, and the staff of NHC Hillview.
