Mr. William B. Webster, age 85, husband of the late Sally Webster, and resident of Parsons, TN, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Perryville Baptist Church in Parsons, TN with Rev. Rodney Hardin officiating.  Burial will follow in Perryville Cemetery in Parsons, TN.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 2:00 until 9:00 PM at the church, and again on Wednesday from 1:00 PM until the 2:00 PM service.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Bill was born on July 5, 1930, and was the son of the late William Paul Webster and the late Lila Webster.  He was born in Chicago, Illinois and graduated High School in California. Bill served his country in the United States Navy. He ran off and married the love of his life, Sally, on April 9, 1952. At the beginning of their marriage Bill worked as a pipeliner, and as a young man he fished for a living on the Tennessee River. He was a dedicated Christian and was an involved member of Perryville Baptist Church where he served as deacon and superintendant. He was also a Sunday school teacher and would often fill in for the pastor on Wednesday nights. Bill was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.

He is survived by his son: William Shane (Vicki) Webster of Lobelville, TN; daughters: Belinda (Roger) Rainey and Cynthia Redden, both of Parsons, TN; grandchildren: Amanda (Van) Leeper of New York City, NY, Brandy Hartley of Parsons, TN, Amanda Lindsey of Hohenwald, TN, Tiffany (John) Richards of Hohenwald, TN, and Gracen Webster of Lobelville, TN; and great grandchildren: Bailey Lindsey of Hohenwald, TN, Christopher Hartley of Parsons, TN, Faith Richards of Hohenwald, TN, and William Van Leeper of New York City, NY.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Sally Webster.

Pallbearers will be: Christopher Hartley, Tommy Montgomery, Michael Lee, Vaughn Paul Duncan, Jacob Pasco, and John Richards. Honorary pallbearers will be: Roger Rainey and Van Leeper.
