Mr. Jim Victory, age 78, of Lewisburg, passed away May 30, 2016 at NHC Lewisburg. Funeral services for Mr. Victory will be held at 2PM on Friday in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia with David Sawyer officiating. Burial will follow in the Lone Oak Cemetery in Lewisburg. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4-8PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Jim was born on December 23, 1937 in the Shady Grove Community of Hickman County and was the son of the late John and Rosie Gordon Victory and the husband of Peggy Sue Brake Victory of Lewisburg. He worked for Inner City Products as a press operator. He also worked on the farm raising tobacco. He liked to go fishing, riding, and sightseeing. Most of all he loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his son: Charles Victory of Lewisburg; daughters: Susie Victory of Lewisburg, Deborah (Mark) Waller of Bon Aqua, Carolyn (Kenneth) Spahr of Lynnville and Teresa (Trey) Alley of Spring Hill; sisters: Mary Etta (Elbert) Orton of Centerville, Marjorie (Bill) Ardry of Williamsport and Shirley Fay Mitchell of Lewisburg; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Raymond Anderson Victory, Chester Victory, Paul Victory; and sisters: Ester Harville, Ruby Rebecca Kelley, and Annie Jean Music. Pallbearers will be Johnathon Potts, Charles Victory Jr., David Mitchell, Johnny Victory, Dallas Victory and John Victory. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of NHC Healthcare in Lewisburg.
