Mr. Oscar Vernon Reeves, Jr., age 57, a resident of Hohenwald, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 21st at 11:00am at New Hope Baptist Church in Hohenwald with Coy Reeves and Jerry McDonald officiating.  The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 10am until the 11am service.

Born on February 11, 1959 in Centerville, Oscar was the son of Oscar Vernon Reeves, Sr. and the late Nora Lee Hinson Reeves. He enjoyed working on tractors, gardening, and telling stories. Oscar was a challenge inventor and explorer who could build impossible things and make them work.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife: Mary Elaine Waggoner Reeves of Hohenwald; brother: Victor Glen Reeves of Hohenwald; and sister: Valaurie (Hulon) Dunn of Hohenwald.
