Patsy Ann Shaw, age 65, a resident of Columbia passed away Sunday evening, May 15, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 2PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Mt. Pleasant with Evan Ellis officiating. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on January 5, 1951 in Fayetteville, TN Patsy was the daughter of the late Cecil Shaw and the late Lucille Polk Shaw. She worked as a housekeeper and in laundry in the health care field. She was a devout Jehovah’s Witness.

She is survived by her sons: Ellis (Felicia) Shaw of Marion Junction, AL, Calvin Shaw of Columbia; daughter: Melissa (Seddrick) Banks of Columbia; brothers: Junior (Samella) Lemay of California, Larry Lemay of California, Timmy (Nicole) Dawson of Texas, Cecil Shaw, Jr. (Tracy) of Lewisburg; sister: Peggy (Vernon James) Ransom of Columbia; and four grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Ceresa Arms and Claudia Secrets.
