George Aaron Marshall, age 32, resident of Pulaski, passed away Wednesday, May 11, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 16, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Sharpe officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Lawn Cemetery in Athens, AL. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on December 31, 1983, in Augusta, Georgia, Aaron was the son of the late Herbert Ronald Marshall and Nancy Whitt Marshall of Pulaski.  An avid basketball fan, he played basketball while in high school and he especially loved watching his sons play at Martin Methodist College gym and Richland School. He enjoyed body-building, football, fishing, and going to the beach. He also enjoyed taking his sons skateboarding and just spending time with them. He will be remembered for his out-going, funny personality as well as his love for his family.

In addition to his mother, Aaron is survived by 3 sons: Joshua Marshall, Jacob Marshall, and Caleb Marshall, all of Pulaski; brother: Ross Marshall of Lawrenceburg; sisters: Simonne (Johnny) Young of Augusta, GA, Aimee (Donnie) Shearouse of North Augusta, SC; paternal grandmother: Simone Marshall of Augusta, SC; maternal grandmother: Ehrma Whitt of Athens, AL; and special friend and mother of his children: Tracy Cole Blythe of Pulaski. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by 2 grandfathers: Herbert Roscoe Marshall and Houston Anderson Whitt.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Marshall, Jacob Marshall, Ross Marshall, Chad Braden, Andrew Simpson, and Doug Higginbotham.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the George Aaron Marshall Fund c/o Heritage Funeral Home at 609 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia, TN 38401.
