Edna Roberson

August 21, 1927 - May 12, 2016

Edna Roberson, age 88, a resident of Columbia, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Life Care Center.

Born on August 21, 1927 in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, Edna was the daughter of the late Charles Hollifield and the late Ethyl Thompson Hollifield. Earlier in life she worked as a telephone operator, but later was a homemaker. She was a member of Rehobeth Baptist Church in Tucker, Georgia.

She is survived by her son: Dale Roberson of Lawrenceville, GA; daughter: Rhonda Renee Roberson of Culleoka; brother: Paul Lee of North Carolina; sister: Lois (J.P.) Goforth of North Carolina; grandchildren: Jaclyn and Hayley Dalton; and great-grandchildren: Sophia Brown, Killian Brown, and Hutson Ridings.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Clyde Roberson; and siblings: Claude Lee, Bill Lee, Clyde Lee, Jenny Lee, Robert Hollifield, and Ray Hollifield.
