Mr. Charles Wayne Morrow, affectionately known as “Munk Munk” by his family, age 77, husband of Pame Moore-Morrow, and resident of Cross Bridges, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 9th at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Andy Pogue officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Eternity in Maury Memorial Gardens, adjacent to Heritage Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 8th from 4 – 8PM and again on Monday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on August 2, 1938 in Maury County, Wayne was the son of the late James Wesley Morrow and the late Elizabeth Delk Morrow. He attended Cross Bridges Elementary School and was a 1956 graduate of Columbia Central High School. Wayne was of the Church of Christ faith and worked as a salesman for several different food service companies, including: JFG Coffee, Food Marketing, and Food Champ Market. Many years ago he enjoyed meeting at Stans for coffee with the State Troopers, as well as, watching Nascar. Wayne had a big sense of humor and always enjoyed joking with people. He loved going to dinner and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Pame, he is survived by his sons: Steve Morrow of Columbia, Stan (Kim) Morrow of Columbia; brothers: Jimmy Morrow of Kettle Mills, Billy Dan (Betty) Morrow of Columbia; sister: Kathryn Morrow of Columbia; grandchildren: Alex, Elizabeth, Parker, Blake, and Anna Morrow; aunt: Carolyn Hayes of Columbia; brother-in-law: Buddy (Claudia) Moore; sister-in-law: Myra (Larry) Fox; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs: Max and Grace.

Pallbearers will be: Kenny Morrow, Mark Morrow, Michael Morrow, Bubba Bennett, Jim Ball, Edward Andrews, Parker Morrow, and Buddy Speakman. Honorary pallbearers will be: R.E. Duncan, Mike Bray, Bruce Gildersleeve, and Wayne Sellers.

The family requests memorial donations be made to the Maury County Animal Shelter or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
