Frances Bryson, age 65, wife of William Richard Bryson and a resident of Columbia passed away on Friday in Nashville.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 19th at 11am in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Brother Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 4-8pm at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
A native of Maury County, Frances was the daughter of the late Hubert Leon South and the late Sarah Frances Furline-Smith. She graduated from Columbia Central High School. She was a member of the Colonial Meadows Church of Christ. Some of her hobbies included cross stitching and reading. She also enjoyed collecting spoons. She treasured pictures of her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Along with her loving husband of 48 years, she is survived by her son: Chris Bryson of Columbia; daughter: Tina Marie (Bill) Helton of Clarksville; sister: Pam Iliff of Columbia; grandchildren: Jennifer (Robert) O’Donnell, Jessica Helton, Shayla (Cory) Hill, Marina Head, and Bethany Helton; great grandchildren: Peyton Hill and Leah Helton.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her step mother: Fronie South; step father: Charles Smith; sisters: Dianne McBroom and Connie Keller; brother: Charles “Bubba” South.
Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Bryson, Danny Bryson, Larry Bryson, and Cory Hill.
