Mr. Bobby Clyde Stephens, age 71, husband of Judy Stephens, and a resident of Culleoka, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. Ezell Rose officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Army. A visitation will also be held on Friday from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on July 26, 1944 in Columbia, Bobby was the son of the late James Clyde Stephens and the late Janie Norman Stephens. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. In his younger days, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bobby also enjoyed collecting guns and playing golf. His biggest love, though, was baseball. Bobby worked as a sales rep and advertising manager for several different grocery stores and was a Boy Scout Leader for ten years.
He is survived by his wife: Judy Mack Stephens of Culleoka; son: Mack Stephens of Atlanta, GA; brother: David Ray (Su) Stephens of Culleoka; and sisters: Betty Stephens Bradley of Columbia, Brenda Stephens (Ben) Uselton of Ashland, OH, Nancy Stephens (Tim) Creel of Columbia.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Jimmy Joe Stephens.
