Valerie Denise Wilson

Valerie Denise Wilson, age 52 and a resident of Columbia, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.

A homegoing service for Valerie will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 7, at the Burns Springs Church of Christ on Smith Street, with Bro. Nelson Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Scribner, Anthony Martin, Stanley Lowery, Warren Harlan, Clarence McCord and Howard McCord. Honorary pallbearers will be Victor Buchanan, Ron Johnson and Rufus Crawford.

Valerie was born March 29, 1964 in Columbia, daughter of the late Ralph and Willie Mae Johnson Wilson. She was a 1983 graduate of Columbia Central High School and she worked as a caregiver with Independent Opportunities Inc over 15 years. She loved being on her computer and spending time with her family.
