Thomas Edward Pittard

January 28, 1994 - March 11, 2016

Thomas Edward Pittard, age 22, a resident of Spring Hill, TN passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Derek Hunter officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM as well as on Tuesday from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Born in Columbia on January 28, 1994, Thomas was the son of Bruce and Deborah Carter Pittard. He was a 2012 graduate of Spring Hill High School and worked as a welding inspector for Fusion Welding at General Motors. Thomas had a passion for music. He played percussion in the middle school and high school band. He enjoyed working outside and riding dirt bikes. Thomas also loved his dog, Zoe.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters: Amanda Taylor Derryberry of Columbia, TN, Jessica Pittard of Spring Hill, TN; nephews: Jacob and Clinton Derryberry; paternal grandmother: Jessie Florine Pittard of McDonough, GA; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Edward J. Carter and Evie Carter; and paternal grandfather: Lenney T. Pittard.
