Mr. Carroll Lee King, age 71, a resident of Lewisburg, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday 2 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Sherry Ladd officiating. Burial will follow in Ring Cemetery in the Pottsville Community. A visitation will be held on Friday from 4–8 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on December 4, 1944 in Lewisburg, Carroll was the son of the late Andrew King and the late Ethel Olene Stewart King. He worked as a truck driver for 18 years and also worked for Andy King Roofing in Marshall County for several years. He was of the Baptist faith and was a very loving and caring man with a big heart.

He is survived by his daughters: Elizabeth (Terry King) Dawes of Lewisburg, Kimmie Cozart of Georgia, and Vickie (Jewell) Pitts of Fayetteville ; brothers: Andy (Fay) King, Kenneth (Veanna) King both of Lewisburg; sisters: Cheryl (Keith) Redd, Wanda King both of Lewisburg; grandchildren: Steven King, Justin King, Jennifer Dawes, Chassity Cozart, Dusty Dawes, Danielle Pitts, and Daniel Pitts; Nieces and nephews: James King, Cecila King, Andy Lee King, Jerry Lee Wright, Billy Joe Wright, Jonathan Redd, Sherry Collins, Marie King, and Kenneth Lee King; and eleven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Jerry King; and sisters: Brenda King, Lucille Alexander, Josephine Floyd, and Betty Joyce King.

Pallbearers will be James King, Jerry Lee Wright, Steven King, Justin King, Dusty Dawes, Billy Joe Wright, and Andy Lee King.
