Mary Josephine Pascovich, age 67, a resident of Hohenwald, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
An Irish Wake will be held at the family home in Hohenwald on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 2016 at 6:30 PM. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on January 25, 1949 in Sacramento, CA, Mary was the daughter of the late Carl A. Johnson and the late Helen Chace Johnson. She was of the Roman Catholic faith. Known by many as “Momma,” Mary enjoyed reading and traveling. She also enjoyed drag racing and was the crew chief for her husband’s race team. She liked working on her computer and collecting 1950’s dolls and oriental objects. Mary was an outspoken person who could always make you laugh. She was the first open heart surgery as a child in California and was the poster child for Easter Seals and the March of Dimes in 1959. She loved the New Orleans Saints and LSU football and Cajun music.
She is survived by her daughters: Nicole Pascovich of Hohenwald, Victoria Aguilar with Brian Almy of Madison, AL; and six grandchildren: Richard Pascovich Smithson, Amanda, Alberto, Angela, Ana-Lucia and Adriana Aguilar.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: John Pascovich.
