Bernardine Margaret Boyd

May 28, 1942 - March 2, 2016

Bernardine Boyd, age 73, wife of Allen Douglas Boyd, and a resident of Linden, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Bernardine was born on May 28, 1942 in New Brunswick, NJ and was the daughter of the late James Delaplaine and the late Bernardine Buck Delaplaine. She worked as a bus driver and often enjoyed riding Quarter Horses.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons: William (Denise) Boyd of Linden, Stephen Boyd of Linden; daughters: Dawn (Roy White) Brewer of Smith Grove, KY, Patricia (Terry) Sellards of Waynesboro; brothers: Patrick Delaplaine of New Jersey, James Delaplaine of Houston, TX; fourteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: John Delaplaine.
