Steven Whitehead

May 28, 1954 - March 2, 2016

Mr. Steven Whitehead, age 61, a resident of Hohenwald, passed away Wednesday morning, March 2, 2016 at Lewis County Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on May 28, 1954 in Detroit, MI, Steven was the son of the late Authur Whitehead and the late Ima Jean Deavers Whitehead. He worked as an automobile mechanic as well as a tow truck driver. Steven enjoyed working on cars.

He is survived by his son: Nicholas Whitehead of Hohenwald; brother: Jerry Whitehead of Taylor, MI; sister: Marilyn Miller of Taylor, MI; grandson: Logan Michael Whitehead of Gaylord, MI; cousins: Christine Long of Hohenwald and Timothy Deavers of Chapel Hill; several nieces and nephews; and many other cousins and relatives.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Brenda Rittenberry and Linda Fisher.

Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
