Paul Dugger

Mr. Paul Dugger, age 83, a resident of Columbia, passed away Sunday evening, February 28, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 3rd at 10am in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Swango officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 4-7pm at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Paul was born on December 2, 1932 and was a Maury County native. He was the son of the late Elmer Dugger and the late Lacy Shelton Dugger. He worked for Ford Motor Company for 30 years and was a proud Union Member. He owned several bars throughout Maury County. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting rabbits and squirrels and also loved to fish.

He is survived by his sons: Quentin Dugger of Columbia, Larry Dugger of Westland, MI; daughters: Pamela Dugger and Paula Dugger, both of Westland, MI; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Dugger; brothers: Ulner Dugger and Leonard Dugger; sister: Sarah Dittrick.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
