Jeffrey Dawson

July 25, 1961 - February 27, 2016

Mr. Jeffrey Keith Dawson, age 54, husband of Molly Dawson, and a resident of Culleoka, passed away Saturday morning, February 27, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Adam Hendrix officiating. An inurnment will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on July 25, 1961 in Columbia, Jeffrey was the son of the late Leslie Howard Dawson, Jr. and the late Jewel Ann Sweeney Dawson. He worked in assembly in the automotive industry for 30 years. Jeffrey was an avid outdoorsman, whether it be grilling, doing yard work, fishing, or sitting by a bonfire, he loved being outdoors. He especially loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was a fun and loving person who enjoyed having a good time. Jeffrey loved life. You could often find him cutting up with people and making them laugh. He also loved animals, especially his dog, Lilly and his cat, Spooky. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Molly of 32 years, he is survived by his brother: Terry Dale (Becky) Dawson of Culleoka; sister: Connie Renee Dawson of Mt. Pleasant; sisters and brothers-in-law: Kathy (Larry) Pierce of Rockvale, TN, Becky (Tim) Hartley of Benton, KY, Tammy (Jon) Kelly of Columbia, Jimmy (Debbie) Turner of Columbia, Connie Dawson of Fayetteville; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Larry Ray Dawson; and sister: Kathy Ann Dawson.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Jon Kelly, Tim Hartley, Herbie Church, Josh Church, Terry Dawson, and Larry Pierce.
