Mr. Ernie Wayne Anglin, age 53, a resident of Madison, formerly of Columbia, passed away Monday morning, February 15, 2016 at TriStar Skyline Medical Center.
A visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM in the Hunter Room of Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on September 14, 1962 in Cook County, Illionois, Ernie was the son of the late Ernie Clyde Anglin and the late Barbara Jean Roberts Anglin. He worked as a carpenter for many years. Ernie enjoyed watching football, especially the San Francisco 49ers. He was a cut-up and jokester who could always make you laugh. Ernie also loved going to the casinos and gambling. Above all, he was a good man and father.
He is survived by his sons: Devin Maurice Walker of Mt. Pleasant, Jeffrey Watson of Nashville; sisters: Paula Anglin (Jeffrey) Grooms of Columbia, Connie Anglin (Ricky) Lewellyn of Columbia, Teresa Anglin of Madison; nieces and nephews: Jason Anglin, Jade Anglin, Brandi (Shannon) Pilkinton, Brandon Curry, Matt Curry, Emily Curry (Zach) Butterworth, Kristy Anglin, Ginger Anglin, and Joseph Arendall; aunts: Lucille Potts of Columbia, Carol Ballard of Hampshire; special cousin: Jeremy Chapman of Columbia, special friend: Donnie Cozart of Nashville; and many other cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Frankie Lee Anglin Burns; and many aunts and uncles.
