Marilyn Ann Webster, age 50, a resident of Columbia, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Alive Hospice in Nashville.
A homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on August 12, 1965 in Lewis County, Marilyn was the daughter of Elsie Beatrice Johnson Webster and the late Ezell Webster, Sr. She was a graduate of Lewis County High School and was a baton twirler. Marilyn loved music, especially gospel. She also loved working with her fellow employees.
She is survived by her mother: Elsie Webster of Hampshire; brothers: Ezell (Vanessa) Webster of Columbia, Freddie Webster of Hampshire; sister: LaVerne Mayberry of Hohenwald; nieces and nephews: Michelle Hardison Green, Marcia Webster, Kristy Webster, Kristal Kirk, Quinton Webster, David Webster, Tyrone Snipes, LaVelle Harwell, Julian Corlew, Meshack Hardison, Jeremy Webster; and several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Shirley Webster and Sederia Hardison.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
