Gladys Loreene Tripp, age 73, a resident of Hohenwald, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Lewis County Nursing Home and Rehabilitation.

Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on April 9, 1942 in Wayne County, Gladys was the daughter of the late Willy Cecil Ramsey and the late Mabel Loreene Kelly Ramsey.

She is survived by her sons: Timothy Tripp of Hohenwald, Ricky Tripp of Hohenwald; daughters: Shelia Sperduti of Hohenwald, Cynthia Stovall of Hohenwald, Joyce Zimmerman of Mt. Pleasant, Verna Tripp of Columbia; brothers: Lawrence Ramsey, Thomas Ramsey; sisters: Frances Watkins, Geneva Martin, Louise Belew, Florence Medley; fourteen grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Lee Tripp; son: Gary Tripp; sister: Virginia Clark; and brother: Roy Ramsey.
