Ernest Prince

July 17, 1929 - January 18, 2016

Mr. Ernest Ragsdale Prince, age 86, a longtime resident of the Culleoka community, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center with his wife by his side.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Ernest was born on July 17, 1929 in Columbia and was the son of the late William Herman Prince and the late Ida Skelton Prince. He was a longtime resident of the Lynnville Community before moving to the Culleoka Community in 1981. He spent most of his life as a farmer and was of the Christian faith. He often enjoyed watching old westerns on TV. Ernest loved sitting and talking with his family about old things and old times.

He is survived by his wife, of 34 years Patricia Osborne Prince of Culleoka; children: Corey (Stephanie) Prince, Alicia Prince, and Jeremy Prince all of Culleoka, Jerry (Leeann) Prince and Trent Prince both of Lynnvile; and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his little buddy, his beloved dog, Scootz.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings.
