Rita Charlotte Holt

March 1, 1947 - December 11, 2015

Rita Charlotte Holt, age 68, and a resident of Hohenwald, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Charlotte was born March 1, 1947 and was the daughter of the late Harley Loyd Buie and Mary Tatum. She enjoyed painting, ceramics and doll making.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Holt, sister, Rhonda Casrill Hedgepath, and brothers, Dwight Buie and Larry Buie. She is survived by her son, David Anthony (Cindy) Black of Chickasaw, AL, daughter, Wendy (Karl) Sephton of Theodore, AL, sister, Valerie (Billy) Kimbrough of Memphis, TN, brother, Gary (Debbie) Buie of Slidell, LA; step children:  Carol Ann Ashmore, Dustin Holt, Gary Wayne Holt, and Rhonda Parham; three grandchildren: Brian Tunink, Steven Tunink and Kyle Sephton, four great grandchildren, and beloved nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to cousin Judy Burton, Elijah's Storehouse, Lomax Church of Christ, the Lewis County Emergency Services department, as well as the friends, aides and medical professionals who assisted Charlotte over the past few years.
