Laura Guzman Prendergast

Ms. Laura Guzman Prendergast, age 35, a resident of Spring Hill, passed away October 26, 2015 at Nashville General Hospital at Meharry. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 2 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday two hours prior to the 2 PM service. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born July 13, 1980, in Lapeer, Michigan, Laura was the daughter of Mr. Robert Guzman and Mrs. Carolina (Frank) Chaffin. She was employed as an Attendant at Premier Parking. In her spare time, Laura had an immense love for animals and always wanted to take care of them. In addition to her parents, Laura is survived by her Sons: Michael Beard of Thompson's Station and Jeffrie Prendergast of Franklin; Brother: Robert Guzman, Jr. of Spring Hill; Sisters: Amy (Richard) Guzman of McEwen and Linda (Chris) Brunson of Columbia; Niece: Michaela "Mimi" Brunson; Nephew: Christopher Brunson, Jr; many aunts, uncles, and many many cousins. Laura was preceded in death by her Grandparents: Thomas and Agnes Jimenez, Margarito and Mary Guzman Davila.
