Jonathan Blake Stanfill, age 25, a resident of Columbia, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015 at his residence. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Keith Baker and John Stanfill officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Chapel Cemetery in Santa Fe. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home and again one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born on December 11, 1989 in Maury County, Jonathan was the son of Lesley Stanfill (Christopher) Westfall and Brian Smyser. He was employed with TRH Services in Columbia where he enjoyed doing lawn care and landscaping. He attended Santa Fe School and Johnson Chapel Baptist Church in Santa Fe. Jonathan loved working on cars, listening to music, and eating. His family described him as being a loving father, son, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé: Kayla Kelley of Columbia; son: Logan Stanfill of Columbia; daughters: Lexie Stanfill, Brilee Stanfill both of Columbia; brothers: Brandon Westfall of Columbia, Kalem Reynolds of Columbia, Aaron Smyser of Nobelville, IN; sisters: Katlyn Westfall Reynolds of Columbia, Kayla Smyser Wright of Summertown, Lauren Smyser of Nobelville, IN; maternal grandmother: Doris Stanfill of Columbia; paternal grandparents: Stephen Patrick & Bonita Jane Westfall of Columbia; paternal grandmother: Patsy Smyser of Nobelville, IN; nephews: Kaden Reynolds, Karver Reynolds; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: John Wesley Stanfill; and paternal grandfather: Stephen Smyser. Pallbearers will be: John Paul Caudle, Marcus Baker, Billy Capps, Kelton Johnson, Landon Reed, David Brown, Adam Stewart, Kameron Dudley, Kenndal Chavers, and Wesley Roberts. The family requests that memorial donations may be made to the Jonathan Stanfill Memorial Fund.
