Shirley Virginia England Potts, age 74, resident of Primm Springs, passed away Saturday at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. Born April 22, 1941 in Hickman County, she was the daughter of the late Tobe and Virginia McGhie England and wife of the late Frank Thomas Potts. She was a lady of many trades. She was the owner of a flower shop, owner of Shirley's Loggers Inn. Her pastime hobbies were flower arranging, watching TV and riding horses. But most of all, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Funeral services for Shirley will be held 1:00 PM on Monday, October 19, 2015 in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Potts Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Monday one hour prior to the service at the Heritage Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Johnny Martin, Chris Barnhill, Chris Webb, Jeff Warren, Sanford McCord, Chance McCord, Rocky Breece, Nicholas Potts, Kiptyn Potts and Destin McCord. Honorary pallbearers will be all friends and buddies at Loggers Inn. Shirley is survived by her sons: Jim (Debbie) Dotson Jr. of Santa Fe and Shane (Chrissy) Potts of Spring Hill; daughter: Sherry Breece of Bon Aqua; sisters: Joyce (JW) Kirby of Pleasantview and Cathey Baskin of Primm Springs; brothers: Glenn (Betty) England, Bobby (Beverly) England, Dwight (Reba) England and Wayne (Mary) England, all of Hickman County; grandchildren: Rocky (Crystal) Breece, Nicholas Potts and Kiptyn Potts; great-grandchildren: Jillian Breece and Raquell Breece. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Tonya Frankie Potts.
