Fred L Uzzell

Mr. Fred L. Uzzell, age 71, a resident of Lewisburg, passed away Thursday evening, October 15, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center. The family will celebrate his life with services at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. A native of Maury County, Fred was born on September 17, 1944 and was the son of the late Felix Francis Uzzell and the late Gladys Christine Moser Uzzell. He was described as being a strong willed and one of a kind person who loved kids and was like a "pied piper" towards them. Fred liked old Camaros, and in his spare time, he enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his brothers: Frank Thomas (Faye) Uzzell of Columbia, Jerry Allen Uzzell of Lewisburg; sisters: and Mary Frances Neese, Iris Christine Howell, and Nancy Marie Stewmon all of Lewisburg; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Felix Francis and Gladys Christine Moser Uzzell.
